Eddie shrugs, but he's glad to have at least gotten her to laugh, no matter how small a laugh it is. It means that what she's been through hasn't completely torn her apart. Not that he'd expect that of her; she's resilient, if nothing else. She's gotten through God knows what else, he's got faith she'll get through this—coming back to life—just fine.
He crosses to sit down on her sofa, making himself comfortable, his lanky frame settling in easily. "You got cream for the coffee? If not, I'll take a little sugar."
